9 Months

Nine months! It is hard to believe our little princess is 9 months old. From the start she has been precious:) I was a little nervous about having a girl. Aaron was and is so so sweet! I was not sure a girl would be so sweet. Well, I was wrong.
We have had a baby sleeping through the night to one that wakes up sometimes every two hours. Her big brother did that also but every hour and a half. She started this when she got her DOC Band. But of course, the first night with it, she woke up around midnight screaming in pain. She had her first ear infection. Since then, she has been battling similar symptoms and now is on her second bot of ear infections. Going to weekly, to twice a month DOC Band appointments has made me learn to drive some in Dallas. To most, this is not a big deal but to me it is. Previously, I had only driven in Dallas about 3 times after buying vehicles. Physical therapy . . . well, it started out okay but then had several weeks of horrible when she went. Very heart wrenching as a mother. My first instinct was to crab her and go! Nine months has brought many new experiences and adventures.
We now cannot imagine our lives without our little girl, Allison. She brings an extra delight and happiness to our family. The boys jockey for her attention. Bless her heart, I see me having to step in and help her out when she gets older. A very protective big brother and a daddy that is over the moon with her:)
In nine months, she is baby "talking", crawling, standing and walking with assistance. Loves her toys, especially Elmo. From telephones, shoes, and remote controls it is so fun watching her play. From the start, she knows what she wants with a mind of her own. Allison is already fussing at us, oh, my. Getting into trouble as she explores her world. I just love this! She keeps me busy. I had prayed that one day, I would get the opportunity to chase another baby around our house. We are blessed and humbled that God has given us a beautiful baby girl to chase around.
